The Market survey is a vital tool for any designer who wants to create products that meet the needs and preferences of their assignment. It can help to identify trends, availability, opportunities, and challenges in the design industry and innovate their own design decisions.

The Sansthan organised the market survey for the students of textile design Department students on 07 February 2024to identify the most appropriate material such as traditional fabrics, colours, dyes, embroidery threads and accessories etc. The students were escorted by the faculty Ms. Poonam Dhyani & Ms. Vidushi Shukla for the survey to the local market Paltan Bazaar, Rama market, Dispensary Road, Kotwali Market, Moti Bazaar to find the availability of various material for their assignment work.

The students visited Khadi Ashram, Gambhir trader, Sunder trader, Kohli sons, Bombay cut piece, Dehra dyers, Khanna Stationary, Doon Stationary. The students collected the material for their project of dyeing, printing, embroidery, blocks for printing and learn to identify the various material and the selection process for the development of the product. It was a knowledgeable and outcome -oriented market survey.
