Dehradun, 28 January 2026 — Tarang-e-Josh, a week-long youth fest, was successfully organised in collaboration with B. S. Negi MPPS and the Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Dehradun. The festival provided a vibrant platform for young talent through a series of competitions including dance, singing, poetry recitation, poster making, slogan writing, and a fashion show titled “Urja.”The concluding ceremony was held on 28 January 2026 to felicitate the winners of the various competitions. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Vinod Uniyal, Vice President, Rajya Udhyamita Parishad, and the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Madhu Bhatt, Vice President, Uttarakhand Cultural Literature and Art Council.The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Rekha Sharma, President of the Inner Wheel Club,followed by the Inner Wheel Club pledge. The ceremony was enriched with captivating performances by students who had participated throughout the youth fest, reflecting their creativity and enthusiasm.A major highlight of the event was the fashion show “Urja,” where final-year students of the Fashion Design Department showcased their final projects, leaving the audience impressed with their innovation and craftsmanship.The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, who had also served as judges for the competitions. In her address Principal Mrs. Namita Mamgain shared insights about the institution and acknowledged the role of the Inner Wheel Club, highlighting her association as an IWC member.The event was further honoured by the presence of esteemed guests including Mrs. Indrani Pandhi, Ms. Ramindri Mundrawal, Mrs. Divya Bansal, Mrs. Megha Bansal, along with other eminent personalities.Ms. Ramindri also addressed the audience with her immense inspiring words and beautiful song.The celebration concluded on a warm note with refreshments for students, guests, and staff, marking a successful end to Tarang-e-Josh—a true celebration of youth energy, talent, and collaborative spirit.
