In line with the directives of the Ministry of Education and AICTE, the Sansthan observed
Swachhata Pakhwada with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, staff,
and faculty members. The fortnight-long cleanliness drive aimed to spread awareness about
cleanliness, hygiene, environmental responsibility and responsible community engagement.
Duration of the Observance: 12th September 2025 onwards
Objective:To instill the importance of cleanliness in daily life and to encourage the habit of maintaining
personal and public hygiene among students and the community.
Activities Conducted During Swachhata Pakhwada:
1. Cleanliness Drive in and around the Campus (Shramdaan) :Intensive cleaning of classrooms, playgrounds, corridors, and toilets was carried out
by students and staff. Special attention was given to proper waste disposal and
sanitation.
2. Poster Making Competitions: :Students creatively expressed their thoughts on cleanliness through posters and
slogans. The best entries were displayed throughout the campus to spread
awareness.
3.Awareness Rally:A Swachhata Awareness Rally was organized by students holding placards and raising
slogans to educate the community about hygiene and sanitation in and around the
sansthan .
4. Essay Writing & Debate Competitions:Inter-class essay and debate competitions were held on topics such as “Clean India,
Green India”, “Role of Youth in Swachh Bharat”, and “Plastic-Free Environment.”
Tree Plantation Drive and waste segregation :As part of environmental awareness, students planted saplings within the campus
premises, reinforcing the link between cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
A live demonstration of proper segregation of daily waste was given by faculty and
eco-club volunteers. Bins were labelled and placed across the campus to encourage
daily practice.
Conclusion:The observance of Swachhata Pakhwada proved to be a meaningful and
impactful initiative. It successfully instilled a sense of responsibility among students
and staff towards maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings. The Sansthan
reaffirmed its commitment to contributing towards the vision of aSwachh and
Swasth Bharat.
