SBI AWARENESS CAMP

B S Negi MPPS has always remained committed to providing its students with opportunities that broaden their knowledge and keep them updated with the latest developments in the world. In line with this vision, an SBI Awareness Camp was organized on 23 July 2025 in collaboration with the State Bank of India, within the premises of the Sansthan. The initiative was taken under the dynamic leadership of the Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain, who is known for her proactive approach and constant efforts toward the welfare of students and staff alike.
A team from the State Bank of India conducted an interactive session with the students, during which they explained the process of opening a Savings Bank Account with SBI. In addition, they highlighted several key features and services offered by the bank, including the YONO App, insurance schemes, and debit card facilities.
To ensure maximum benefit to the students, the SBI team also visited classrooms and assisted students in filling out account opening forms and completing necessary documentation. As a result, approximately 30 students successfully opened their savings accounts during the camp.
The awareness camp was highly informative and well-received by both students and faculty members. It not only educated the students about basic banking services but also encouraged financial literacy and responsibility among them.
